Flat roofs are where the cheapest quote ages worst. A bargain felt job on a soft deck fails in five years; a properly-detailed EPDM roof on a sound deck outlives the garage. The membranes we fit: one-piece EPDM rubber (no joints on most domestic roofs — the leak path simply isn’t there), wet-laid GRP fibreglass with proper trims and topcoat, and torch-on felt where budget rules. Every system includes new edge trims, drips and upstands — the details that actually decide whether a flat roof lasts.

EPDM or GRP — which should I pick?
EPDM (rubber) is the value-per-year winner for most garages and extensions: fewer joints, 40+ year life, kinder to imperfect decks. GRP is stiffer and tougher — better if the roof gets walked on or has complex details. We quote both so the comparison is yours, not ours.
My felt roof keeps being patched. When does replacement make sense?
When patch costs stack toward a third of replacement, or the deck is going soft. A 20m² garage in EPDM at ~£2k, over 40+ years, usually beats a £300 patch every couple of winters — we'll show you that maths against your actual roof.
Is the deck included in the price?
Inspection of it, yes; replacement boards are on the printed rate card like all hidden work. Older felt roofs frequently hide soft decking — you'll see photos and a fixed rate before we replace a single board.
