Why we started this
Weather Tight Roofing is two founders: a roofer with the years on the tools, and a software engineer who builds the systems most roofing firms don't have. We started it because this trade's reputation problem is fixable — with evidence.
The honest bit about being new
We won't pretend to 30 years of Google reviews — we're new, and you should judge new companies harder. That's exactly why everything we do produces a record you keep: the drone survey footage, the itemised quote with hidden-work rates printed on it, the daily job photos, the completion pack with your guarantee. We're building our reputation in public, one documented roof at a time — and until the review count speaks for itself, the evidence has to.
What we promise on every job
- Prices published. The whole book is on this site; quotes reconcile against it.
- Surveys you keep. Footage and report are yours, hire us or not.
- No surprises mid-job. Hidden problems get photographed, priced at pre-printed rates, and approved by you in writing — or we finish the original scope at the original price.
- Public liability insurance to £5m. Documents available before work starts, unprompted.
- No pressure, ever. We email quotes and leave you alone with them. Two follow-ups maximum, then we stop.
